Fabulous food and the food and service by Aimie R.was spectacular. Also had porter beer, a favorite... I heard it was a local favorite. It was packed on a Friday afternoon Thanks for a great experience.

As an out of towner the staff made me feel at home. Plenty of great menu options (try the buffalo chicken wrap). Iconic location across from Seabreeze Amusement park and a short walk to the lake. A piece of NY history. Thank you “The Union Tavern” good luck.

We ordered the union burger with fries on the side. The portion size was perfect and a good value. The flavors and combination of textures was a delight, crispy bacon, but not crumbly, deep fried onion ring, fresh tomato, lettuce, and cheddar cheese complimented with a chipotle sauce. Really good. I ordered medium and got medium. That was a big plus. And the fries are also uniquely delightful. Our waitress was wonderful! A great experience overall.

1st time here, and I grew up in Irondequoit. Loved it. Cozy old school atmosphere. Friendly and attentive bartender. Good selection on the menu. I'll be back to try their famous French onion soup!.

Nice, prompt and helpful bartenders. It was 2 minutes until the kitchen was closing and they let us take a couple of minutes to decide and still put in an order for us. The ricotta dip appetizers we had were very good.

Visited for the first time but it will not be the last! Great atmosphere with a vintage feel. The service was exceptional - attentive and quick. So many things on the menu we wanted to try but chose one of the nights specials - a glazed porkchop - and a strip steak with oyster mushrooms. We had the fried oysters for an appetizer and pie for desert. You gotta try their chocolate peanut butter tort - so rich and decadent! The key lime pie was perfect - light, sweet, with just the right amount of tart. Will definitely be visiting this gem again!

We ate here for the first time tonight. We were invited by my wife’s uncle and aunt. I had the pot roast and she had the fish and chips. Both were very good and a great value. We had the pleasure of sitting with Kelly Bush (the owner). She is very sweet and passionate about the history of the property and other activities that go on there. I suggest that you try it out if you are in the area.

First time visiting and it was great all the way around. Extensive beer and cocktail list to start, I had a Three Heads Blueberry Belgian Waffle Cream Ale. The Fish Fry was amazing, nailing the perfect balance between a crispy coating with a tender, flaky haddock filet...no mushiness anywhere to be found and the house tartar sauce added another dimension that might have made this the best fish fry I ever had. I was actually saddened a bit when I finished the last bite. The "chip" like fries were excellent as well...good on their own, crispy and salted just right, no ketchup was needed. Service was prompt and friendly and the 60's era Seabreeze hey-day ambiance made for a cozy early dinner as the place was filling up with regulars who were engaging as well I'll be back and will probably add this to my wife's and my regular rotation.

This is a cool bar. It’s got some good age to it and the old bar feel. My wife and I came here for the fish fry for lunch. The bartender maybe the only one working at this time as I’m pretty sure she took our order got our drinks and made the food! She seems to be doing it all well. The fish came out hot and large I was definitely pleased with the quality and size of the fish. The batter wasn’t quite as crispy as I hoped and some was peeling off the fish by the time I finished it. The taste and quality of fish was there and I enjoyed it. The fries were very crispy and good. They are steak fries with a seasoned coating and they didn’t stand a chance being left on the plate. I don’t love coleslaw but I always try it with fish fries. This one was a light mayo type base and fairly plain. It wasn’t vinegary if that’s what you like. I enjoyed the meal and the location and would return to try other items on the menu like the union patty melt - I almost ordered that today it sounds great.
